Tuesday Nite Stitchers

FREE - donations accepted
All welcome.
Joining a knitting group is one of the best things you can do for yourself as a knitter or any hand craft you are working on. If you're new to your craft, it's a great way to pick up new tricks and always have someone at the ready to help you through difficult parts of patterns or explain a new-to-you technique.
For knitters and hand crafters of all skill levels, this is a way of making a time and place for your projects.

The Far Side of the Paint Brush: An Introduction to Abstract Art Techniques

The concept of abstraction can be complicated, but grasping the fundamentals is a crucial step in forming a technique.  We will look at methods of moving from representational art into abstract art, transforming firm outlines into simple shapes. Beginning with objects from the real world, students will learn to alter them with their own creative choices, resulting in an individual abstract oil pastel composition.
